Hillary - Flip Flopping

Interviewer: What is your favorite team?

Hillary: I've always been a Cubs fan but after losing year after year I'm a Yankee fan.

Interviewer: Well you were elected in New York.

Hillary: Oh, I've always been a Yankee fan!

This is a synopsis of a real interview with Hillary Clinton. She is so good at changing her mind for what she thinks is political gain.

Also, she announced that our society needs to change from a one for one society to a sharing society where everyone is equal. I think she should start with sharing the Clinton millions. They both received millions from their book deals. They should begin sharing with Social Security recipients that can't afford their medications and can't afford gasoline to go get the medications even if they could afford them. That would really convince me she is serious about sharing!

Have you noticed lately how is always a step behind Obama. It's like she is waiting to see what he does before she can make a decision. He waited to cast is vote against supporting our troops and then she crept up and cast her vote against our troops. He announced his health plan and then she stepped up and said "me, too." I think neither deserves to be President for simply voting against supporting our troops. Getting us out of Iraq is not the same thing as denying funding for the troops in harm's way.

Oh, yeah... Don't re-elect incumbents!

Rosie... One Last Time

After the big feud I never did hear Rosie's explanation regarding what she said and got all over Elisabeth for not defending her. As I remember she something to the effect of "655,000 innocent Iraqi's have died, now who are the terrorists?" I really thought she was calling the United States and our troops terrorist! If she wasn't she really should have explained what she meant rather than ragging on Elisabeth to defend her.

She has been on virtually every news cast since the incident with a new blog statement so she has had plenty of exposure to explain herself. Maybe Elisabeth really didn't know what she was trying to say?

Oh well, it's no big loss. She just left a few weeks earlier than originally planned. It will be interesting to hear what ABC finds out about who vandalized the pictures of Elisabeth. It seems that when Rosie quits bad things follow her. Remember she was sued by the publishers of her magazine after she lost her original talk show.

I really enjoy the view. Especially, listening to women express their view points. Unfortunately, Rosie didn't allow anyone to talk if they didn't agree with her viewpoint. She was excellent as talking over the over co-hosts. Most of the time she acted like she was the "host" not a co-host or moderator. Maybe ABC, Barbara and Bill will do a better job picking the next moderator. They really need to get some minority women back in the group.

By the way... Don't re-elect incumbents!

Hillary and Obama

As late as the past two weeks Hillary and Obama said they would support funding our troops. They were 2 of 14 Senators that voted against funding the troops.

Hillary stated today that the troops "deserved more." Apparently, that did not include bullets and armor needed for the war. Obama has stated that we must make sure that the troops have the equipment and armor they need.

Obviously, both did not mean what they said. At least their lies are quite apparent before either are elected President. Neither of these people are good for their word and should be ashamed for not supporting our troops.

These two are excellent examples of why to...

Don't re-elect incumbents!

Hillary and Obama

Hillary and Obama voted against supporting our troops. They both, looking at each other, voted against the bill funding our troops. Of course, both will claim to support our troops but their vote says it all... Let's play political games with our troops!

It will be interesting the next few days, Memorial Day weekend, to see how each spins their decision into support of the troops.

Even Speaker Pelosi voted for the bill and stated it is supporting the troops! To show what a good American she is she is going to observe Memorial Day in Greenland watching the glaciers. What a patriot!

Don't re-elect incumbents!

A Democrat in Republican Clothing

For years John McCain has been my favorite presidential candidate. However, in the past few years he has become more liberal. Now he has become a Kennedy liberal Democrat. He is completely on the wrong side of the debate on immigration. As a result, I will not longer support him!

I am not opposed to immigration. I am opposed to illegal immigration! My fore fathers were immigrants... legal immigrants. I have friends whose parents immigrated to the country... legally. I believe it is disrespectful to those legal immigrants to grant amnesty to those in this country illegally.

I have contacted my Senators to express my displeasure about how this Immigration Reform bill is coming about (being jammed down). We must not support in politician that is supporting this bill. We must make sure that any Senator voting for this bill is defeated the next time they are standing for election. As a matter of fact...

Don't re-elect incumbents!

Immigrant Amnesty

The government committee has come to an agreement to deal with the illegal immigrants.

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck... it is a duck!

This agreement in nothing but amnesty for illegal immigrants. Congressional representatives can call it anything they want... but it is amnesty.

Illegal immigrants must be deported and enter into this country legally! Don't support anything less than deportation of illegals!

Don't re-elect incumbents!

Cats

By the way, did I mention I hate cats!

I hate emails about cats.

I hate emails with pictures of cats!

Cats are a pest.

Cats are a nuisance.

Cats are nasty!

Speaking Bible

Too many "left wingers" want to get the Bible out of our educational systems and lives. In order to do this they need to think about how much the Bible is in our daily lives.

To begin with, let's look at the names of some cities in just a few states:

  • In Pennsylvania there is Bethlehem and Nazareth and Emmaus and Bethsaida and Shiloh and Bethel and Eden and Ephrathah and Zionsville and New Jerusalem.
  • In Texas there is Palestine and Hebron and Eden and Joshua and Temple and Bishop and Blessing and Corpus Christi.
  • And, in California there is Antioch and Carmel and Goshen and Bethel Island and Joshua Tree and Temple City.
These are just a few in three states. Shall we rename all of the cities in all of the states with Biblical names?
A great number of the expressions that we use commonly in the English language came right out of the Bible--expressions like:
  • "the apple of his eye" --Deuteronomy 32:10
  • "eat, drink and be merry"--Ecclesiastes 8:15
  • "The blind leading the blind," Jesus said --Matthew 15:4
  • "Let not your heart be troubled" --John 14:1
The words adoption, busybody, scapegoat--- All of these were introduced as words as a part of the translation of the Bible to the King James Version.
In today's English, we speak Bible everyday!

God has Always Been Here

In the beginning God... (Genesis 1:1)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. (John 1:1-2)

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

That which was from the beginning... (1 John 1:1)

No Gas May 15th

It's going around the Internet to not buy gasoline on May 15 to protest the price. It's a great idea but it won't work. Too many people will buy gas, buy it on the day before or the day after May 15.

We should be putting pressure on our Congressional representatives to act! This is a Democratic controlled Congress... why haven't they tackled this issue. The Democrats are supposedly so in touch with what Americans want and think, why aren't they acting on this issue that affects virtually all Americans. Because they are too busy sticking "pork" in war funding bills in order to buy the needed votes to get the bill passed. They are more concerned with the "pork" than our servicemen and women.

We should be putting pressure on all the Presidential candidates. I haven't heard one talk about this issue... Democrat or Republican. They are all out of touch with the American public. Anyone attending a candidate rally should be asking the question of the candidate, "What are you going to do about gasoline prices?" Any candidate that hasn't announced their position on gasoline prices should not receive campaign contributions. That would start getting attention!!
