Kennedy on Immigration Bill

Ted Kennedy has said that he doesn't understand why the American public would want a "broken border." That isn't the only thing he doesn't understand. He just doesn't get it!

The American public wants the existing laws enforced! Build the fence, hire the border guards, deport the illegals and not just the Mexican illegal immigrants. It isn't xenophobia... it's the desire to have the American laws enforced.

Many Senators have said they got more response on this issue than anything since Clinton's impeachment.

Mr. Kennedy, just listen to your constituents and the American public!

Immigration Bill Vote

Due to a vote this morning in the Senate the "Comprehensive Immigration Bill" is dead, again. Proponents have vowed to bring it back to life but it probably can't be done during this term and possible not before elections.

The following is a list of the 46 Senators who voted to give this country to illegal aliens. Each of these people should be targeted when they come up for re-election and voted out of office. Each has decided that what 80% of the American public wants is not what they, personally, want. They have decided not to represent the American public but represent illegal aliens.

In science fiction, it has come to mean 'fear of extraterrestrial things. ...

This is the liberal left's description of those 80% of American who are opposed to the "Comprehensive Immigration Bill." I can honestly say that none of these describe how I feel about illegal aliens. I just think they should abide by the laws of the United States and enter this country legally. I actually think Mexico has it right... illegal aliens have NO rights and cannot occupy any type of job and legal or illegal aliens aren't allowed to hold elective office!

Any American politician that supports this bill falls into my category of...

Don't re-elect incumbents!

Tony Blair and the Middle East

Former British Prime Minister is set to take on the responsibility of Middle East Envoy. He has stated that he is committed to a "Two State Solution."

In 2003 the United States, Russia, European Union and United Nations issued a "road map" to Israeli-Palestinian peace. Although little progress has been made on implementing the "road map" one of the provisions is to divide Jerusalem. This portion of the "road map" is completely unacceptable and should be unacceptable to all Christians. Israel and Jerusalem belong to the Jews. God gave these lands to his people and they must remain.

Any American politician who supports this provision is not a Christian and does not serve the interests of the American public.

Comprehensive Immigration Bill

"We will secure our borders, give amnesty to illegal aliens and penalize businesses that employ illegal aliens." This is what we were told in 1985/86 when the existing legislation was passed by Congress. Does it sound familiar? It is the same thing we are being told now about the new Comprehensive Immigration bill.

Recent polls show that as many as 80% of Americans don't want this bill. The polls even show that many legal aliens don't want this bill because they entered this country legally and it took years in many cases. These same legal aliens have expressed concern over what will happen to their own wages when the 12-20 million illegals are granted amnesty.

I am certainly not opposed to immigration; my ancestors immigrated to this country from Europe. I just feel like it ought to be fair for all those wanting to enter this country. Those who have been waiting to enter for months and years should receive priority over those here illegally.

I am astonished that our representative in the U.S. Senate are not listening to what the American public wants. A recent Gallop poll shows that Congress as a 14% approval rating. Not only is it lower than President Bush's approval rating, it is the lowest rating for Congress since Gallop has been doing poll.

Kansas Senator Sam Brownback has said he will vote for the bill. If he ever had a chance at being elected President, it is certainly dead the minute he casts a vote for this bill. Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell is still taking a "wait and see" attitude. Pressure needs to be applied to him and all Senators.

Any Senator that votes for this bill must be targeted at the next election and voted out of office. These Senators are supposed to be representing us, not their own interests and power plays! That is why I continue to plead...

Don't re-elect incumbents!

Lott - Feinstein

Senator Trent Lott (R-MS) figured out why the American public doesn't want the Comprehensive Immigration bill... "Congress sits on the hill and comes up with great bills and forgets to explain them." Yeah, right! Mr. Lott don't patronize the American people. The majority of Americans are intelligent; the majority of Americans can read; the majority of Americans call this bill "amnesty, unfair, expensive, another lie" and don't want this bill.

Unfortunately, Mr. Lott, you and many of your cohorts that have yet to figure out that you are supposed to be representing the American public, not illegal aliens. You, McCain, Kennedy, Brownback and many others will incur the wrath of the constituents at the next election if this bill passes and you vote for it!

The Fairness Doctrine is the requirement for equal time for opposing political view. Television and radio producers used to sit with stop watches so they would know how much time to give the political opposition. The FCC decided with the great number of radio and television station owners and with the advent of the Internet opposition could be heard so the doctrine was not longer needed.

Now, Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) wants to bring the Fairness Doctrine back. She has something to say but no one wants to hear it. There are so few people who want to hear what she has to say that talk radio and opinion television would have to cancel money making programs.

The best thing Senator Feinstein could do is go back to California and help Mr. Feinstein with all those government contracts she helped him acquire.

Here are two (2) more reasons why I keep repeating...

Frivolous Law Suit

Administrative Judge Roy Pearson has lost his $54 million suit against Washington dry cleaners owned by a Korean couple. The suit stemmed from the cleaners losing the pants to a $1,000 suit owned by Judge Pearson. Later the couple found the pants and offered to return them but the Judge refused to accept them back.

U.S District Judge Judith Bartnoff ruled Washington's Consumer Protection Act was not violated when the owner's of Custom Cleaner's failed to meet Roy L. Pearson's standards. Judge Bartnoff wrote in her opinion, "Plaintiff Roy L. Pearson, Jr. takes nothing from the defendants, and defendants Soo Chung, Jin Nam Chung and Ki Y. Chung are awarded the costs of this action against the plaintiff Roy L. Pearson, Jr." The Chungs has asked for the return of their attorney fees and the judge is to rule at a later date as whether Pearson will have to reimburse them.

I hope Judge Bartnoff rules that Pearson must repay the Chungs for their legal fees. In addition, I feel Judge Pearson should, at the very least, be removed from the bench for bringing "frivolous law suits." I think he abused his status as a judge (even though he was an administrative judge) to try to intimidate this couple. In reality, I would like to see Pearson dis-barred!

Embryonic Stem-cell Research

This morning President Bush vetoed a bill passed by the Democratically controlled (with the help of a few Republicans) congress that would have expanded federally funded embryonic stem-cell research.

The bill would have expanded embryonic stem-cell research by allowing the use of excess human embryos that were created for fertility treatments and would otherwise be discarded. The key here is "excess." I don't consider any human embryo "excess" or "discard"-able. Imagine if you were considered "excess," or your child, or your grandchild.

Even though I am a two (2) time stem-cell transplant patient and thankful for the technology and treatment I used by own stem-cells. Embryonic stem-cells would not have put me in remission but would have caused me great guilt. There has never been a cure for disease using embryonic stem-cells.

I applaud President Bush for his decision to veto this bill!

Politics

Fred Thompson and Hillary Clinton were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person. DC has a lot of them.

The Republican, Fred Thompson, gave the homeless person his business card and told him to come to his office for a job. He then took $20 out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.

Hillary was very impressed, so when they came to another homeless person, she decided to help. She walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. She then reached into Thompson's pocket and got out $20. She kept $15 for her administrative fees and gave the homeless person $5.

Now, do you understand the difference?

al Qaeda Murders Children

The U.S. bombed an al Qaeda hideout in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, the cowards had forced children into the hideout as protection. Now the U.S. is apologizing for killing seven (7) children.

Using civilians is a tactic that the radical Islamists use to protect themselves. They know that moral democracies like the U.S. and Israel will do anything to avoid injuring innocent civilians. However, as cruel as it sounds the U.S. must confront this policy and change it or we will not only lose the Iraqi war but we will also lose the war when they follow us back to the U.S. Innocents die in all wars... they did in WWI, WWII and on 9/11.

With the recent shelling and bombings in Israel you can bet Iran is up to something else. They always active their proxies like Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist groups to divert attention when they are up to something. It doesn't bother any of these groups, including Iran, to murder innocents in the name of Islam. They believe that anything is allowed including murder and lying in order to advance Islam. The final goal is that all the world will follow Islam or the world will end. This is exactly what the president of Iran is up to.

Our Congressional representative have got to quit debating illegal immigration amnesty and get real on the terrorism and nuclear threat from Iran before it is too late and the U.S. and Israel are wiped off the map.

Massachusetts Dumps Democracy

In the true spirit of Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, today Massachusetts lawmakers prohibited a constitutional amendment from going to voters. The constitutional amendment was a ban on gay marriages!

Massachusetts remains the only state to allow same-sex couples to marry.

Obviously, Massachusetts lawmakers were afraid their constituents would vote the amendment down so they kept it from them. I can't help thinking that the two Senators from Massachusetts will laud this decision... It is probably the way they would run the country if either was elected president. We can only be thankful that Kennedy's past keeps him from running and Kerry indecision kept him from the presidency.

Bomb Iran

It has been reported that Senator Joe Lieberman has called for the bombing of Iran. Actually, what he said was that we need to be prepared to bomb Iran if they don't play by the rules. This was in response to reports that Iran is involved in the death of at least 200 U.S service people.

I have no doubt that Iran is guilty of being involved in killing our service people. It has been proven they are provided IEDs to the terrorists in an effort to drive America out of Iraq. They, and Syria want America out of Iraq so an extremist Islamic government can be established.

The big picture here is that Iran wants to "wipe Israel of the map." That is a direct quote from the Iranian President. This one of the reasons Iran wants nukes. Another reason is to wipe America off the map. If America is to bomb Iran it should be to stop their nuclear proliferation.

America should defend itself from this threat, but more importantly, America should join Israel in protecting Israel. Israel is God's chosen people and must be protected regardless of the cost. Iran cannot and should not be trusted.

McPherson Co. (Kansas) District Court

The District Court of McPherson County, Kansas is one of the biggest jokes to our legal system I have ever seen. Either that or Judge "J" is the most gullible judge elected in a number of years.

I have a "friend" trying to obtain a divorce and custody of his son, but his wife continues to delay and the Judge keeps allowing her to get away with it. She has missed court appearance multiple times, perjured herself numerous times (the Judge has witnessed the lies on the stand), defied a contempt of court order, refused to take drug and alcohol tests ordered by the court and in addition, has been arrested for skipping out on a gas purchase and forged endorsements on an insurance check. Once of the endorsements was a federally insured financial institution. If that is not enough, she took the check and cashed it at another federally insured financial institution. She "fired" her attorney but probably what really happened is she didn't have any money to pay him so he "fired" her!

All of this and she is still out on the streets probably peddling drugs to the kids of McPherson and McPherson County.

She says she wants custody of her son but doesn't even contact him. She hasn't seen or talked to him in about 2 months. She didn't even bother to send him a birthday card on his 10th birthday. For Christmas she called at 5:30 pm Christmas Eve (30 minutes before Wal-Mart closed) to ask what he wanted for Christmas. He got a bicycle that he had to leave in McPherson, but it was too big for him anyway.

The latest episode happened Sunday evening when her Aunt called to talk to the boy. He was at the pool so she left a message that she would call back Monday evening. Here it is Tuesday and no call.

Unfortunately, the boy has learned to not depend on his mother. Now he is learning that her family is just as unreliable has his mother. He doesn't even want to see her and has said he doesn't have a mother. What a shame!!

All this and the McPherson County District Court and Judge "J" can't even get to the point of making a decision that is supposed to be in the boy's best interest.

Shame on McPherson County District Court, Judge "J", the boy's mother and her family!

Fortunately, I have a good friend helping me and taking care of me and a young man that entertains me daily and makes me so happy that I have gotten to know him!

Hillary - Flip Flopping

Interviewer: What is your favorite team?

Hillary: I've always been a Cubs fan but after losing year after year I'm a Yankee fan.

Interviewer: Well you were elected in New York.

Hillary: Oh, I've always been a Yankee fan!

This is a synopsis of a real interview with Hillary Clinton. She is so good at changing her mind for what she thinks is political gain.

Also, she announced that our society needs to change from a one for one society to a sharing society where everyone is equal. I think she should start with sharing the Clinton millions. They both received millions from their book deals. They should begin sharing with Social Security recipients that can't afford their medications and can't afford gasoline to go get the medications even if they could afford them. That would really convince me she is serious about sharing!

Have you noticed lately how is always a step behind Obama. It's like she is waiting to see what he does before she can make a decision. He waited to cast is vote against supporting our troops and then she crept up and cast her vote against our troops. He announced his health plan and then she stepped up and said "me, too." I think neither deserves to be President for simply voting against supporting our troops. Getting us out of Iraq is not the same thing as denying funding for the troops in harm's way.

Rosie... One Last Time

After the big feud I never did hear Rosie's explanation regarding what she said and got all over Elisabeth for not defending her. As I remember she something to the effect of "655,000 innocent Iraqi's have died, now who are the terrorists?" I really thought she was calling the United States and our troops terrorist! If she wasn't she really should have explained what she meant rather than ragging on Elisabeth to defend her.

She has been on virtually every news cast since the incident with a new blog statement so she has had plenty of exposure to explain herself. Maybe Elisabeth really didn't know what she was trying to say?

Oh well, it's no big loss. She just left a few weeks earlier than originally planned. It will be interesting to hear what ABC finds out about who vandalized the pictures of Elisabeth. It seems that when Rosie quits bad things follow her. Remember she was sued by the publishers of her magazine after she lost her original talk show.

I really enjoy the view. Especially, listening to women express their view points. Unfortunately, Rosie didn't allow anyone to talk if they didn't agree with her viewpoint. She was excellent as talking over the over co-hosts. Most of the time she acted like she was the "host" not a co-host or moderator. Maybe ABC, Barbara and Bill will do a better job picking the next moderator. They really need to get some minority women back in the group.

By the way... Don't re-elect incumbents!

Hillary and Obama

As late as the past two weeks Hillary and Obama said they would support funding our troops. They were 2 of 14 Senators that voted against funding the troops.

Hillary stated today that the troops "deserved more." Apparently, that did not include bullets and armor needed for the war. Obama has stated that we must make sure that the troops have the equipment and armor they need.

Obviously, both did not mean what they said. At least their lies are quite apparent before either are elected President. Neither of these people are good for their word and should be ashamed for not supporting our troops.

These two are excellent examples of why to...

Don't re-elect incumbents!

Hillary and Obama

Hillary and Obama voted against supporting our troops. They both, looking at each other, voted against the bill funding our troops. Of course, both will claim to support our troops but their vote says it all... Let's play political games with our troops!

It will be interesting the next few days, Memorial Day weekend, to see how each spins their decision into support of the troops.

Even Speaker Pelosi voted for the bill and stated it is supporting the troops! To show what a good American she is she is going to observe Memorial Day in Greenland watching the glaciers. What a patriot!

A Democrat in Republican Clothing

For years John McCain has been my favorite presidential candidate. However, in the past few years he has become more liberal. Now he has become a Kennedy liberal Democrat. He is completely on the wrong side of the debate on immigration. As a result, I will not longer support him!

I am not opposed to immigration. I am opposed to illegal immigration! My fore fathers were immigrants... legal immigrants. I have friends whose parents immigrated to the country... legally. I believe it is disrespectful to those legal immigrants to grant amnesty to those in this country illegally.

I have contacted my Senators to express my displeasure about how this Immigration Reform bill is coming about (being jammed down). We must not support in politician that is supporting this bill. We must make sure that any Senator voting for this bill is defeated the next time they are standing for election. As a matter of fact...

Don't re-elect incumbents!
