WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee grabbed headlines Wednesday as a New York Times/CBS News poll showed the former Arkansas governor closely trailing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in Iowa.
Top Democrats -- Sen. Hillary Clinton, Sen. Barack Obama and former Sen. John Edwards -- remained knotted in a very tight race in the Hawkeye State, which holds its first-in-the-nation caucuses on Jan. 3.
But the biggest surprise came from Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor, who was shown trailing Romney, the long-time Iowa frontrunner, by 27% to 21%, with margin of error of 5 percentage points. The showing follows other surveys which have also shown Huckabee picking up steam in Iowa. [Click the headline to read the full article.]
My guy has be behind but don't count him out, yet! I still think he has a great chance and will be a good President. An Iowa "upset" is in the works and following that New Hampshire will be the next "upset."
Remember...
Don't re-elect incumbents!
