Prayer Targets

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. “May they prosper who love you.” - Psalm 122:6

No further dividing of the land of Israel. “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” - Joel 3:2

Pray for God’s Chosen people. “I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand— I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, 'You are my people.'” - Isaiah 51:16

Pray for the Washington/Israel Summit. “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” - Isaiah 62:6-7

Pray for those in authority. “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence. ” - I Timothy 2:1-2

  1. President—George Bush That God will protect his mind and spirit and surround him with godly counsel. That he would choose to bless Israel and resist all form of ungodly counsel.
  2. US State Department—Condoleezza Rice, Secretary c. US State Department—Nicholas Burns, Under Secretary That they would be protected against Anti-Semitism and ungodly influence regarding Israel and her right to exist and protect herself.
