I went to the pulmonologist today as a follow-up to my hospital stay. I am still have some difficulty breathing and the cough persists. The doctor said the lab is still growing some cultures which are still showing some "things." At this point it looks like the antibiotic that I was on for 10 days should have taken care of what is showing but I still need to wait for a few more weeks to get some definitive answers. She did instruct me to use my inhaler 2 puffs up to 4 times per day.
I'm scheduled for another check up on August 27.
